The culture of a region is identified by the people and their beliefs and most importantly their civilization. Paphos (Pafos) was once ruled by powerful empires like the Romans and the Myceneans, the relics of which can be distinctly traced in the Cypriot Culture.

Paphos is famous for its art galleries and museums around the world, it can also be called as the cultural seat of the Europe.
